Tifft takes 8th in Hummingbird Super Late Model Shootout

The Dirty Bird Bash at Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania’s Hummingbird Speedway was on the docket for Matt Tifft on Saturday evening. Competing in a 26-car field on hand for the $4,000-to-win Super Late Model Shootout portion of the event, he earned a strong top-10 finish with his GUNK No. 57 ride.

Tifft opened the night by turning in the quickest time in his qualifying group and clocking the second-quickest time overall on the 1/3-mile oval. He went on to grab third in his heat race, then came home eighth in the 35-lap Super Late Model feature.
