Tifft enters weekly action at Hilltop Speedway

Attempting to avoid the wraith of Mother Nature, Matt Tifft entered a single event over the weekend with a trip to Hilltop Speedway (Millersburg, Ohio) on Friday afternoon aboard his Sunoco Race Fuels No. 57 Late Model.

After locking into the $3,000-to-win A-Main with a fifth-place finish in his heat, Tifft’s promising run in the feature was halted when he cut down left-rear tire. He was scored 16th in the final rundown.

Saturday’s plans at Marion Center Raceway (Marion Center, Pa.) were axed by wet weather.
